About Credit Calculator
Free, private personal finance tools. No sign-up. No tracking your numbers. Just clear math.
What we do
We build free calculators and write plain-English explainers for the financial decisions that move the most money in your life: mortgages, loans, debt payoff, retirement planning, taxes. The math is the same math your bank or lender uses. We just make the inputs and outputs visible so you can see exactly where the numbers come from.
Why we built it
Most calculator sites either gate features behind sign-ups, or use the inputs as lead-gen for the highest bidder: advertisers, brokers, lenders. You enter your salary and debts looking for an answer, and the site uses that information to target you with financial product ads.
We built Credit Calculator because financial math is not proprietary. The amortization formula has been public knowledge for centuries. People deserve a tool that runs the numbers and then stops, one that does not collect your salary, debts, and assets to sell back to them in the form of loan offers.
Our principles
Free, no sign-up.
Every tool works with zero account creation. We do not gate any feature behind a paywall.
Local-only calculations.
All math runs in your browser. Your salary, balances, and personal numbers never leave your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Real numbers.
We show our formulas, link to our methodology, and cite sources where relevant. Nothing is a black box.
Plain English.
Where possible we explain not just the result but what it means and what to do next.
How we make money
This site runs on display advertising. Ads do not see your inputs, only the page you are on. We do not accept payment to recommend specific lenders, banks, brokers, or financial products. If you see a comparison or rate on this site, the math behind it is independent of any commercial relationship.
Who runs this
